On the ship...

Just a quick note that Usrup the King has made it on the container ship (behind schedule).
Once they hit port (Vancouver) in a few weeks, I MIGHT be able to get an idea of how long they will be held up there. As things stand now, fingers crossed for February :(
Sincerely,
Dan
Shipping Update

Hi y'all,
By now most of you are aware of the issues with shipping. A policy in China mandates that workers be quarantined upon arrival. This has created additional supply chain delays.
With that in mind, Usurp the King is scheduled to be placed on a container ship on December 27th (It was pushed back from December 12th).
Estimated arrival is mid-January. We have no idea what the ports will look like at that point (Madoshi sat in the harbor for a month).
With all that being said. It's unlikely that Usurp the King will be released before February.
Thank you all for your patience.
Sincerely,
Dan
Production Complete...

I received the production sample of the game, and it all looked good.
Arrangements have been made to start the shipping process. As you may be aware, shipping from overseas has become a bit of a nightmare. In the past, I would have been able to predict that you would have games in your hands in about 6 weeks. With shipping backlogs and delays, I have no idea when the games will arrive. I suspect it will be in January, but even that might be optimistic. I will keep you updated when I hear anything more.
Sincerely,
Dan
Manufacturing Update

Well... there has been another delay in manufacturing. There are all sorts of reasons. The new projected date is the end of October.
THEN we will have to deal with the overseas shipping issues. I spoke with my shipping agent, and she doesn't believe shipping will get better until March. So, I fully expect a fairly significant shipping delay.
Thanks for hanging in there!
Sincerely,
Dan

Hi everyone,
The files have been proofed and submitted.
The manufacturing plant was hit with a typhoon in early September and has caused a bit of a delay while they clean up the plant and get up and running. The current schedule is to manufacture games at the end of the month.
And then... we will have to deal with shipping. Word is that the booking of container ships is backlogged for a variety of reasons. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
Sincerely,
Dan
